Leonardo Munin oversees IDC’s Latin America research for Mobile Phones, managing diverse local analyst teams spread throughout the region providing analysis and forecasts across more than a dozen countries in Latin America through quarterly, semiannual, and annual studies.
Within IDC, Leonardo has also held the role of Analyst for the Brazilian mobile device market, conducting interviews and interactions with the whole mobile phones ecosystem (OEM, ODM, Channels, Carriers etc.) providing key information for the market. Apart from the studies conducted by IDC on a regular basis, Mr. Munin leads consulting projects, acts as speaker at events and presentations related to the mobile phone market and he is also a frequent contributor of leading opinions in the media.
Mr.Munin began his college program at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and after one and half year of student exchange program in Mexico, he got back to Brazil where he concluded the graduation in business administration by Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado – FECAP. Leonardo is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in Spanish, and advanced in English.
