Edwin Estrada Hernández
Vice Minister of Telecommunications Costa Rica
Mr. Estrada Hernández is graduated in Law by the University of San José. He has specialized studies in Agriculture and Environment Law and Technical Studies in Telecommunications Administration and Regulation by the University of Costa Rica. He obtained his Master Degree in Public Law with the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica. He has been a member of the Colegio de Abogados since 1996.
He has worked as a lawyer in institutions from the public sector and as parliamentary advisor, especially with the Legislative Plenum as well as with the Telecommunications related Commissions. He has been a University Professor for more than 10 years.
He works in the institution since 15 July 2009 and he has worked as Manager of Standards and Procedures in Telecommunications and Director of Concessions and Standards in Telecommunications.
From 17 May 2016, he has worked as Vice Minister of Telecommunications.
