Lissette Pérez Pérez is a Senior Specialist in the Directorate of International Relations and Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Communications of Cuba.
She is the Coordinator of the National Working Group on the Information Society.
Serves as the liaison of the Ministry of Communications with the United Nations agencies United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU).
Is the World Summit Awards (WSA) expert for Cuba.
In 2017, she was the research assistant of the representative of Cuba in the United Nation’s Secretary General Multistakeholder Advisory Group for the Internet Governance Forum and the Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation on Public Policy Issues Pertaining to the Internet of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development,
She has a degree in International Relations from the Higher Institute of International Relations ‘Raúl Roa García’ of Havana, Cuba.
